A.  Admit that you're a sinner

• Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;"

B.  Believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross, was buried, and rose again for you (the Bible says so!)

• Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
• 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, "...Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4) And that he was buried, and that he rose again the thrid day according to the scriptures:"

C. Call on the Lord Jesus to save you

• Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
• Romans 10:9-10, 13, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 13) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Sinner's sample prayer:

"Dear Lord, Your Word is true.  I know I am a sinner, and I believe that Jesus died and rose again for me.  I now ask Jesus to be my Saviour and to take me to Heaven.  In Jesus' name, Amen."
